Fun for the Kids, But the Music's a Bit Much

This play appliance set works just fine, and my grandkids enjoy playing with it in the kitchen section of their playroom. The set comes with an egg steamer, mixer, toaster, and blender, all with realistic sounds that add to the fun. However, I wish it either didn’t play music or at least had the option to turn it off. It doesn’t quite fit with the realistic vibe of the other kitchen toys, after all, real appliances don’t play songs when you turn them on!Despite the unnecessary tunes, the kids are having a great time with it. The appliances seem sturdy and it is a nice addition to their play kitchen setup.

Amazing Set

My 3 yr old daughter loves this set, it is the perfect addition to her play kitchen. In addition to being very high quality it also comes with so many cute accessories. The blender and mixer play music and light up and the toaster even pops the toast up. It's such a fun set to use. Although it takes a ton of batteries that are not included so be prepared to have 3 batteries per toy ready to go. I would have preferred if the tools were rechargeable via a USB cable but other than that we love this set. It also looks realistic. It's perfect for inspiring pretend play and also teaching cooking life skills. It kept my daughter occupied for long periods of time and she has played with it multiple times. It arrived packed nicely and would also make a great gift! So happy with this set.

Inconsistent buttons and dials

Overall, a cute set and the egg steamer is unique and isn't usually seen in any other kitchen play sets. The toaster does not need batteries. The entire set needs 6 AA batteries (not provided). The items needing batteries all play music relatively loudly and there does not appear to be a button to turn sound off or to decrease the volume. No instructions were included.I disliked that the dial buttons, which all look the same, were not consistent in how to use them so the kids did not like that. The blender has an on/off dial at its hinge/pivot point, but the dial button doesn't do anything. The egg steamer's dial button needs to be pressed to turn on/off the steamer (see video). The blender's dial button needs to be rotated/turned to turn it on and off, even though it looks exactly like the egg steamer's button. If the goal was to teach kids different motor skills then the dial buttons should have each been different.

The best

Realistic kids kitchen play set. Good quality at a great price. You will need 6-AA batteries for everything but the toaster. Lots of fun my daughter loved it.
